Highlights from our September Meeting & AGM.

Thanks to Michelle Williamson who resigned from the committee after several years of extremely valuable contributions. Welcome to Kim Moss who joined the committee.

Special thanks to Phil Henry who has spent countless hours over the last 6 months in the wake of COVID-19, working with CCIQ to lobby government on your behalf.

A big win was getting the State Gov to change their position on Payroll Tax after JobKeeper came out. An issue that was originally identified by Michelle and then raised by Phil with CCIQ – so that’s a real win from your local chamber.
Looking forward to another 12 months to see what improvements we can bring to local business in Capricornia!
