Rookwood Weir Project – Register your interest on the ICN without delay

Rookwood Weir Alliance Development phase commenced following shortlisting of EOIs

After an intensive evaluation of a competitive field of Expressions of Interest (EOI) submitted for building the new Rookwood Weir, Sunwater is pleased to announce that both LendLease/McCosker and McConnel Dowell/Obayashi joint ventures have entered into Alliance Development Agreements. Sunwater will work collaboratively with both groups, and its Design partner, GHD, over the next four months through an interactive tender process to develop a Project delivery solution.

The commencement of the Alliance Development phase represents achievement of a key milestone leading to the selection and appointment of the Alliance Construction partner during Q3 2020. Construction. The Rookwood Weir Alliance intend to commence early works in Q4 2020 with construction scheduled in early 2021.

If you’re interested in providing services to the Project you are encouraged to register your interest at the Project’s ICN supplier portal – http://rookwoodweir.icn.org.au – by Thursday 30 January 2020 to guarantee your capability details are put forward to the two shortlisted Proponents for consideration during the bid development process.
