By 2019, the Scheme is expected to support about 460,000 Australians with disability and invest $22 billion a year in services and equipment. In our region (Rockhampton, Gladstone and west to border) it is projected that the number of Participants will increase from the current 2500 to 4900; the number of Employees will increase from 800 to 1800 FTE, and the total government funding spend will increase from $90m to $220m per annum.
